MPFA to implement “vaccine bubble” arrangement
In view of the increasing threat posed to Hong Kong arising from the growing number of infection cases involving mutant strains of COVID-19, the MPFA announced today (21 January) that it will follow the Government’s “vaccine bubble” arrangement from mid-February 2022.
A spokesperson for the MPFA said that, except for those who are certified as unfit for taking COVID-19 vaccination based on medical conditions or due to pregnancy with prior exemption granted, all MPFA colleagues will be required to have received at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine for entering MPFA premises.
The spokesperson added that as vaccination is a crucial part of Hong Kong’s anti-epidemic strategy, MPFA requires all its staff to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
