MPF Carnivals kick off
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) will organise a total of 14 MPF Carnivals jointly with two political parties within this year to bring home MPF messages to the local community throughout the territory.
The carnivals feature game booths, information panels, and stage performances. The first carnival was held at Tin Shui Wai Recreation Ground today (October 27).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms Hendena Yu, Chief Operating Officer (Compliance) of the MPFA said, "MPF has become an integral part of life for the public of Hong Kong. It is, therefore, important that members of the public have a good understanding of the System."
"The MPFA has attached great importance to public education programmes. By joining hands with political parties in co-organising MPF district carnivals, our shared objective is to enhance public understanding of the MPF System in a lively and interesting manner," added Ms Yu.
The 13 MPF Carnivals to be organised in November and December will be conducted at the following dates and venues:
