The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) believes it is important to have exchanges with other jurisdictions to keep its finger on the pulse of the latest developments in global private pension systems. The latest issue of the MPFA Newsletter summarizes the discussions at the Global Forum on Private Pensions, which was earlier held for the first time in Hong Kong.
 
MPF Column talks about the preparations for the launch of the Default Investment Strategy (DIS), and calls on scheme members to take note of this new MPF choice and the possible impact of the related legislative amendments on their MPF accounts. Also covered in this issue are a study about the Fund Expense Ratio of MPF funds and the award presentation ceremony for the 2015-16 Good MPF Employer Award.
