MPF Info Stations to operate at fixed times, fixed venues
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) has set up 11 "MPF Info Stations" around the territory to provide convenient enquiry service for the public.
The launching of the service forms part of the MPFA's continuous programme to reach out to the public and increase public understanding of the MPF System. Artiste Mr Jerry Lamb was today (December 2) appointed "MPF Star" to help promote the service.
A ceremony was also held today to officially mark the launching of the Info Stations. The ceremony was officiated by Chairman of the MPF Schemes Advisory Committee (AC), Professor Nelson Chow Wing-sun, SBS, JP. He was joined by AC Member, the Hon Ng Leung-sing, JP; and Chief Operating Officer (Corporate Affairs) of the MPFA, Mrs Diana Chan.
"In just one year, I am glad to note that the operation of the MPF System has been by and large on track. But MPF being an entirely new system, many scheme participants may need advice and assistance on their MPF matters.
"The Info Stations are set up at various community halls and Home Affairs Department's Public Enquiry Service Centres across the territory at a fixed schedule. The MPFA staff are there to offer help to members of the public and answer their MPF-related questions in a face-to-face manner," said Professor Chow.
The following are the locations and opening hours of the Info Stations:
Copies of a schedule card showing all the times and venues of the Info Stations are available for collection at the HAD Public Enquiry Services Centres. Members of the public may also call 2918 0918 for appointment. End/Saturday, Dec 2, 2001
