MPFA offices continue to close
In view of the severity of COVID-19, the offices of MPFA situated in Kwai Chung, Kwun Tong and Sheung Wan will remain closed until further notice. The MPFA will continue to implement work from home arrangement for staff and provide only urgent and essential services to the public in order to safeguard the health of the public and its staff. The MPFA will closely monitor and review the situation, and make announcement on further arrangement when appropriate.
The MPFA reminds employers that the MPF contribution day for July’s contributions is 10 August. Employers should act early in making contribution arrangement to avoid delay. They should use various digital means to make MPF contribution payments and send remittance statements to their trustees instead of submitting by mail or in person, so as to avoid going out and reduce social contact. The MPFA has communicated with all trustees and appealed to them to provide necessary assistance to employers to make MPF contributions on time electronically during this period. Employers should also be mindful that the service hours of individual trustees may be affected by the pandemic. For details of electronic services and tools provided by each of the trustees and other practical tips, please visit Electronic_services.
Members of the public may obtain MPF information on the MPFA’s website (www.mpfa.org.hk) and through MPFA’s digital tools and mobile apps. For enquiries, they can email to mpfa@mpfa.org.hk or call MPFA’s hotline at 2918 0102.
