MPFA customer service counters to close from 2 December
In view of the latest development of COVID-19 and related announcement made by the Government, the MPFA will close the customer service counters situated in Kwai Chung, Kwun Tong and Sheung Wan offices from tomorrow (2 December) until further notice. The MPFA will contact individuals who had made appointments to visit the customer service counters.
Public enquiry service
The MPFA’s telephone enquiry hotline (2918 0102) will continue to provide service from 8:45am to 5:45pm from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Members of the public may also make enquiries through email (mpfa@mpfa.org.hk) or leave a message in the hotline voice mail for follow-up by the MPFA. Useful MPF information and frequently asked questions are available on the MPFA website (www.mpfa.org.hk) for reference. The MPFA also encourages employees to use the MPFA’s e-Enquiry of Personal Account (ePA) platform and its mobile app, together with the one-stop MPF Fund Platform and its mobile app, to manage their MPF.
MPF contribution day for November
The MPF contribution day for November is 10 December. The MPFA reminds employers to use various digital means to make MPF contribution payments and send remittance statements to their trustees instead of submitting by mail or in person, so as to avoid going out and reduce social contact. They should also be mindful that the service hours of individual trustees may be affected by the pandemic and act early in making contribution arrangement to avoid delay. For details of electronic services and tools provided by each of the trustees and other practical tips, please visit https://www.mpfa.org.hk/mpf-system/mandatory-contributions/electronic_services.
The MPFA will closely monitor and review the situation, and make announcement on further arrangement when appropriate.
