MPFA launches revamped official website

To mark the 20th anniversary of the MPF System, the MPFA launched its revamped official website (www.mpfa.org.hk/en) in February 2021. The new website has a user-centric design with a simple and clear content structure and website navigation. It has more interactive elements, providing an enhanced browsing experience for visitors and allowing employees, self-employed persons and employers as well as the industry, media and public to obtain MPF information easily and conveniently.

The revamped website features a new function – a chatbot called “Jack”, which serves as an MPFA ambassador, helping to build a closer relationship with MPF scheme members. Jack provides instant, round-the-clock online enquiry support for frequently asked questions on MPF matters. Users can easily get useful MPF information on different topics, such as MPF enrolment, MPF contributions, how to transfer MPF, etc., by simply selecting the relevant category and clicking the buttons on the guided menus along the dialogue flow.

In line with the trend of using mobile devices for internet access, the revamped website has a responsive web design, which automatically adjusts the page layout according to the device used, such as smartphones, tablets and desktop computers, for optimal viewing. It also uses more graphics and enlarged text to make the web pages simpler and clearer to browse.

Apart from introducing the MPF System and the MPFA’s roles and responsibilities, the revamped website continues to provide and update important information, ranging from press releases and speeches to statistical data, to enhance public understanding of the MPF System and the work of the MPFA. The new website features two sections to help scheme members manage their MPF accounts easily and conveniently and plan for their future. The “Understand your MPF” section rovides specific MPF information according to different needs of employees, self-employed persons and employers, while the “Useful Tools” section provides an array of practical online tools, such as the MPF Fund Platform, e-Enquiry of Personal Account (ePA), and related forms. Members of the public can also learn more about MPF investment and obtain information about the eMPF Platform, as well as the Occupational Retirement Schemes (ORSO schemes) on the revamped website.
