MPFA Chairman exchanges with MPF intermediaries (14 September 2021)
MPFA Chairman Mrs. Ayesha Lau continued to interact with different stakeholders of the MPF System. She met with representatives of the Insurance and Financial Planners Association, an affiliate of the Federation of Hong Kong and Kowloon Labour Unions yesterday (September 14), to introduce the latest development of the eMPF Platform and listen to the views of MPF intermediaries.
MPF intermediaries handle MPF administrative matters such as preparing documents and submitting information for employers and helping scheme members consolidate MPF accounts on a regular basis. After the launch of the eMPF Platform, MPF intermediaries will continue to have an important role in assisting employers and scheme members to handle and manage their MPF matters.
Mrs Lau assured that the eMPF Platform will benefit all users. She looked forward to the support of MPF intermediaries in promoting the uptake of the Platform by employers and employees when it is launched.
