MPFA Chairman meets with Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce on retirement protection for the working population (18 October 2021)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Lau met with the leadership of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) today (18 October) to exchange views on the latest developments of the MPF System and issues pertinent to the retirement protection of the working population.
During the meeting, Mrs. Lau emphasised that HKGCC is the oldest business chamber in Hong Kong which is a valuable partner of MPFA over the years by offering constructive suggestions on the MPF System from the business’ perspective for enhancing the retirement protection of employees.
She also shared that the eMPF Platform was the most important project being undertaken by the MPFA at the moment. The eMPF Platform, when fully launched, will bring tremendous benefits to all users, including employers and employees in terms of efficiency and user experience, etc.
