MPFA Chairman engaged in frank dialogue with Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association (1 December 2021)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Lau met with the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association (HKSMEA) yesterday (1 Dec) to discuss the latest progress of the eMPF Platform and various MPF topics of common concern.
In the meeting, Mrs Lau introduced the latest development of the eMPF Platform project, which could enhance the efficiency of managing employees' MPF, resulting in substantial savings on the employers.
SMEs constituted more than 98% of Hong Kong’s business establishments and employed about 45% of employees in the private sector. To that end, she encouraged HKSMEA to collect views from its members on the prototype of the eMPF Platform so as to ensure that the Platform could fulfill their needs.
