MPFA signs Memorandum of Understanding with AMCM (14 December 2021)
The MPFA and Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) today (14 December) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the connection between Hong Kong and Macao on areas relating to information exchange, professional training and technical sharing. The MoU was signed by the MPFA Chairman, Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau and AMCM Chairman, Dr Chan Sau San in a virtual signing ceremony.
At the signing ceremony, Mrs Lau said, “The MoU marks an important milestone for both regulators in terms of mutual collaborations. Following the signing of this MoU, MPFA will share its experience in its on-going efforts in continuous refinement of the MPF System and will exchange views with the AMCM on the regulation of the financial industry.”
