MPFA consults labour unions on the user interface of the eMPF Platform (17 & 18 March 2022)
To perfect the design of the front-end portal of the eMPF Platform, MPFA representatives conducted consultation meetings for affiliate member unions of the Federation of Hong Kong and Kowloon Labour Unions (FLU) on 17 and 18 Mar via video conferencing, to introduce the user interface mock-up of the eMPF Platform to over 60 front-line workers from different industries and seek their views on the design.
The FLU’s member unions concerned included the Federation of Hong Kong Food & Beverage Industries Trade Unions and the Federation of Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Industries Trade Unions which are composed of more than 20 affiliate unions. During the meetings, representatives from MPFA and the contractor responsible for the development of the Platform introduced the design of the front-end portal of the Platform and demonstrated common scenarios in handling employees’ MPF. Jonathan Ho, Director of External Affairs of the MPFA, said that views solicited in the consultation sessions are essential to the development of the user interface of the eMPF Platform to ensure the Platform is user-friendly, meeting the needs of employees and various users.
