MPFA consults workers of the transportation industry on the user interface of the eMPF Platform (7 Apr 2022)
MPFA representatives conducted a consultation meeting with the Transport Industry Committee (TIC) of the Federation of Hong Kong and Kowloon Labour Unions (FLU) via video conferencing on 7 Apr, to introduce the prototype mock-up of the eMPF Platform to front-line workers from the transportation sector and seek their views and comments on prototype.
The TIC is composed of 15 affiliate unions of the transport sector. During the meeting, MPFA representatives shared the latest development of the eMPF Platform project and demonstrated common scenarios for employees to handle their MPF on the front-end portal. Eddy Chan, General Manager of External Affairs of the MPFA, who represented MPFA at the consultation session, sincerely thanked the participating workers for their valuable views and suggestions and said that workers’ views are crucial in perfecting the design of the front-end portal of the eMPF Platform. Eddy Chan added that the MPFA would work jointly with the FLU and TIC to promote the eMPF Platform to workers from the transport and other sectors when it is launch next year.
