MPFA meets with Legislative Council Member to exchange views on MPF and seeks comments on the user interface mock-up of the eMPF Platform (22 April 2022)
MPFA Acting Managing Director Mr Cheng Yan-chee today (22 April 2022) met virtually with Legislative Council Member Hon Stephen Wong to discuss topical MPF issues including the eMPF Platform and MPF investments.
Mr Cheng outlined the progress of the eMPF Platform project, saying that the construction of the eMPF Platform was in full swing. Once the phased onboarding to the Platform has started in 2023, it would bring tremendous benefits to both employers and employees in terms of efficiency, cost savings, user experience, etc.
Representatives from MPFA and the eMPF Platform Company demonstrated some standard functions of scheme members’ user interface, including changing investment portfolios, accounts consolidation, etc. Mr Cheng thanked Hon Wong and his assistants for their constructive suggestions which would assist the contractor in perfecting the design of the eMPF Platform.
