MPFA Executive Director (Policy) has an in-depth exchange with fellow financial regulators at an industry conference (24 Jun 2022)
MPFA Executive Director (Policy) Ms Gabriella Yee attended a panel discussion at the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) Annual Conference on 24 June, sharing MPFA’s latest initiatives and regulatory experience on MPF investment as well as the latest development update of the eMPF Platform project. Some 350 participants from the fund management industry and financial sector attended the event.
Ms Yee said although regulators were facing various challenges, such as uncertain economic situation, etc. MPFA would spare no efforts in tackling the obstacles for the retirement well-being of our working population. She added that maintaining close communication with fellow regulators and different stakeholder groups was instrumental to solving problems. MPFA would step up the collaboration with fellow regulators and various stakeholders so as to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as an international financial centre.
