MPFA Chairman meets with LegCo Members to exchange views on MPF (24 Aug 2022)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau and Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee continued their on-going engagement meetings with Legislative Council (LegCo) Members through various means. Today (24 August), they met with LegCo Members from G19, an alliance formed by independent legislators, via online meeting.
At the meetings, Mrs Lau introduced the latest progress of the eMPF Platform Project and new initiatives to broaden the horizon of MPF investments. Mrs Lau emphasized that the mission of the MPFA is to enhance the retirement protection of the working population in Hong Kong.
Mrs Lau thanked for the invaluable views and suggestions offered by the LegCo Members, which would help the MPFA formulate long-term strategies. She said the MPFA will continue to communicate with LegCo Members and different stakeholders regularly to listen to their ideas and suggestions for further refining the MPF System.
