MPFA Chairman meets with LegCo Members to exchange views on MPF (29 Sep 2022)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau and Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee continued their on-going engagement meetings with Legislative Council (LegCo) Members. Today (29 September), they met with LegCo Members Dr Hon Junius Ho and Hon Lam So-wai via an online meeting.
At the meeting, Mrs Lau introduced the latest progress of the eMPF Platform project and new initiatives to broaden the horizon of MPF investments. Mrs Lau emphasized that the eMPF Platform aimed to improve the efficiency of the MPF System, thereby creating room for fee reduction and enhancing the retirement protection of the working population in Hong Kong.
Mrs Lau thanked the Members for their valuable views and suggestions, which would help the MPFA formulate long-term strategies. She said the MPFA would continue to communicate with LegCo Members and stakeholders from different background regularly to listen to their ideas and suggestions for further refining the MPF System.
