eMPF Platform: Revolutionizing Hong Kong’s Pension System (1 Nov 2022)
Mr Eric Lui, Chief Executive Officer of the eMPF Platform Company Limited, spoke at the main conference of the Hong Kong Fintech Week 2022 today (1 Nov), sharing the vision and the latest development of the eMPF Platform Project, and how the Platform could reshape the MPF ecosystem and bring enormous benefits to different stakeholders.
Mr Lui expressed that MPFA, eMPF Company and the project team have been working at full steam to build the eMPF Platform which aims to standardize, streamline and automate the existing MPF scheme administrative processes, so as to improve the operation efficiency of the MPF System, create room for fee reduction and enhance user experience as well as pave way for future reform of the System. Besides, the eMPF Platform could also generate opportunities for the MPF industry on product and service innovation and foster the development of Hong Kong as a smart city.
Organized by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and InvestHK, the Hong Kong Fintech Week gathered global leaders in innovation, technology and finance to explore the future development of Fintech, and is expected to attract more than 20 000 attendees and over 3 million views online from over 80 economies.
