MPFA Chairman exchanges with DAB LegCo Members (7 Nov 2022)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau and Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee continued their on-going engagement meetings with Legislative Council (LegCo) Members. Today (7 November), they met with LegCo Members Hon Lillian Kwok and Hon Ngan Man-yu from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong via an online meeting.
Mrs Lau mentioned at the meeting that the development of the eMPF Platform was in full swing, which would benefit scheme members by improving the efficiency of the MPF System and making room for fee reduction. When the Platform was launched, the MPFA would roll out large-scale territory-wide publicity and promotion campaign, and would also pay special attention to the needs of the grassroots scheme members and small-and-medium sized enterprises to help them use the Platform.
Mrs Lau thanked the Members for their valuable views and suggestions, which would help the MPFA formulate long-term strategies. She added the MPFA would continue to communicate with LegCo Members and stakeholders from different backgrounds regularly to listen to their ideas and suggestions for further refining the MPF System for the well-being of scheme members.
