MPFA shares the latest developments of the MPF System with the AMCM (28 February 2023)
In the spirit of the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) in December 2021, MPFA Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director Ms Cynthia Hui received delegates of the AMCM visiting Hong Kong on 28 Feb, sharing supervisory experience on retirement systems.
Ms Hui said that the MPFA had been striving over the years to strengthen the MPF System by introducing various initiatives to create value for MPF scheme members. She cited the development of the eMPF Platform as the most important project undertaken by the MPFA so far. The Platform is expected to enhance the efficiency of MPF scheme administration and the user experience. It will also create room for further fee reduction and pave the way for future MPF reforms.
She added that the MPFA would be pleased to maintain close liaison with the AMCM to share experience on matters of common concern and foster closer rapport between the two Authorities.
