eMPF Platform – Enhancing efficiency and reducing costs (21 September 2023)
Mr Anthony Chiu, General Counsel of the MPFA, introduced the latest developments, functions and the benefits to be brought about to all users to employers and human resources practitioners on 21 Sep.
Mr Chiu said that the eMPF Platform provides a one-stop electronic solution for employers and human resources practitioners to handle all administrative procedures of different MPF schemes. These procedures include enrolling new employees into the MPF scheme, submitting remittance statements and making contributions by digital means, etc., greatly lifting work efficiency. Employers can also set up reminders for making contributions on the eMPF Platform, so as to avoid possible consequences from default contributions.
He also mentioned that the MPFA, eMPF Platform Company and the platform contractor will provide comprehensive support to all users including providing training courses for employers and human resources practitioners, outreach teams, service centre and hotlines, with a view to ensuring a smooth transition for employers to the eMPF Platform.
