MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau, accompanied by Managing Director Mr Cheng Yan-chee, Chief Operating Officer Ms Cynthia Hui, and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Mr Wallace Lau, met with Legislative Council Members from the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (FTU) and the New People's Party (NPP) on 13 March. During the meetings, the MPFA representatives provided an overview of the key areas of focus in the coming year and listened to the valuable views shared by the legislators regarding the MPF System.
Mrs Lau met with Hon Kwok Wai-keung, Hon Luk Chung-hung and Hon Dennis Leung from the FTU, as well as Hon Adrian Pedro Ho from the NPP. The participating legislators were briefed on MPFA’s work priorities for 2024-25, including the latest development of the eMPF Platform.
Mrs Lau stated that the MPFA attached great importance to the views of Legislative Council Members and would actively consider them. The MPFA will endeavor to continuously improve the MPF System with a view to effectively providing retirement protection for Hong Kong’s working population.
