MPFA Chairman candidly exchanges with LegCo Members of C15+, the Liberal Party, and DAB (14 March 2024)
MPFA Chairman, Mrs. Ayesha Macpherson Lau, together with Managing Director Mr Cheng Yan-chee, Chief Operating Officer Ms Cynthia Hui and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Mr Wallace Lau, shared the key focus areas of MPFA with Legislative Council (LegCo) Members on 14 March. They highlighted the latest developments of the eMPF Platform and various initiatives aimed at refining the MPF System for protecting the interests of MPF scheme members.
MPFA representatives met with various groups of lawmakers, including Dr Hon Johnny Ng, Hon Doreen Kong and Hon Tang Fei of C15+; Hon Shiu Ka-fai, Ir Hon Lee Chun-keung, and Hon Frankie Yick of the Liberal Party, and with Hon Starry Lee, Hon Rock Chen, Hon Lillian Kwok and Hon Edward Leung of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB).
Mrs Lau expressed her appreciation for the valuable views provided by the LegCo Members, which would help MPFA develop a wide range of relevant initiatives for the benefit of various stakeholders. She added that the MPFA would continue to engage with LegCo Members and stakeholders from all walks of life, seeking their input to further improve the MPF System and ensure the well-being of scheme members' retirement protection.
