MPFA Managing Director interviewed by Metro Radio’s programme “財知大道”(22 May 2024)
MPFA Managing Director Mr Cheng Yan-chee was interviewed by Metro Radio’s programme “財知大道”, introducing the eMPF Platform and the onboarding arrangement.
Mr Cheng said that the eMPF Platform, which is operated on a non-profit basis, will reduce administration costs of MPF schemes through standardising, streamlining, and automating the MPF administration processes.
He said that the first trustee onboarding the Platform has sent communication packs to their scheme members and employers with dates and important information regarding the onboarding process. Comprehensive support services, including service hotline, service centres and outreach teams are also provided to help scheme members and employers understand and use the eMPF Platform.
Mr Cheng also reminded scheme members and employers whose schemes are yet to onboard the eMPF Platform that there is no need to register in advance as their account information will not be shown on the Platform before their MPF schemes have onboarded.
