eMPF Platform - Making MPF administrative work easier (12 June 2024)
Mr Anthony Chiu, General Counsel of the MPFA, attended the Hong Kong Benefits Forum on 12 June, sharing the latest developments of the eMPF Platform and the benefits to be brought about to different users to over 150 human resources practitioners.
Mr Chiu said that the eMPF will cover all administrative procedures for MPF schemes and significantly enhance operational efficiency and accuracy of human resources practitioners in handling MPF administrative work, where they can process MPF contributions electronically and would no longer need to fill out paper forms, saving a substantial amount of administrative time for handling MPF matters and making the work easier.
Mr Chiu also said that MPFA, the eMPF Platform Company and the project contractor would provide a series of support services specifically for employers and human resources practitioners, such as outreach team and training sessions, and tutorial videos would also be uploaded onto the website of the eMPF Platform, with a view to catering diverse needs of different users and ensuring a smooth transition to the eMPF Platform for all users.
