New MPF Digital Generation for the MPF System (20 June 2024)
Mr Wallace Lau, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of the MPFA, attended an MPF Forum on 20 June as the Guest of Honour. He shared with over 500 employer representatives and human resources practitioners the latest developments of the eMPF Platform and the benefits to be brought about to different stakeholders.
Mr Lau said that the eMPF Platform would start operation on 26 June signifying the birth of a new digital era of the MPF System. The eMPF will bring a brand new digital experience to all users. Whether you are an employee, employer or self-employed person, you could easily manage your MPF anytime anywhere with your smartphone or computer.
He further emphasized that the eMPF would address the current pain points in managing MPF. It would not only significantly improve the operational efficiency of the MPF scheme administration, but also make the MPF management more convenient, easy and efficient. It would also save administrative costs and create room for fee reduction, bringing tremendous benefits to all stakeholders of the MPF System.
