MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Mr Wallace Lau, Director (Enforcement) Ms Cynthia Li and Director (External Affairs) Mr Jonathan Ho met with over a hundred workers from Sham Shui Po on 22 Jun). During the event, they shared the latest developments of the eMPF Platform, Default Investment Strategy (DIS), and MPF-related anti-scam messages as well as listened to the views from the participants on the MPF System.

Mr Lau said that the eMPF will be launched on 26 June and the first trustee, YF Life Trustees Limited, will join the Platform on that day. He reminded the participants that they should wait for their respective schemes to get onboard the Platform before registration, since their account information would not be available on the Platform before their schemes are onboarded, and they would not be able to submit any administration instructions through the Platform as well.

He also reminded that the MPFA, the eMPF Platform Company and the project contractor will not contact individual scheme members to promote the eMPF nor embed hyperlinks in any electronic messages. Members of the public should stay vigilant to avoid falling victim to scammers.
