MPFA continues to promote the eMPF Platform to employers (6 August 2024)
Mr John Wan, Director (Business & Compliance) of eMPF Platform Company, attended a seminar organized by a trustee, to introduce the background, functions and benefits of the eMPF Platform to employers yesterday (6 Aug).
He said that the MPF schemes of the first two MPF trustees had joined the eMPF Platform in June and July respectively. The remaining MPF schemes will join the Platform one by one in ascending order of the value of MPF assets under management by the trustees, and all MPF schemes are expected to complete onboarding the Platform by end 2025. He reminded employers that there is no need to rush to register for the eMPF Platform, as the account information of the schemes not joining the eMPF Platform yet will not be available on the Platform.
He also mentioned that MPFA and the eMPF Platform Company will continue to launch large-scale promotional and educational campaigns to ensure a smooth transition to the eMPF Platform for all employers.
