MPFA promotes MPF to youngsters at a career talk (23 August 2024)
MPFA Executive Director (Members and Supervision) Mr Kenneth Chan attended a career talk organized by the Child Development Initiative Alliance (CDIA) on 23 August 2024, briefly introduced the key features of the MPF System, latest updates of the eMPF Platform and shared the functions of the main financial regulators in Hong Kong to a group of youngsters.
Mr Chan highlighted that the eMPF Platform is the largest reform initiative since the implementation of the MPF System. Once their respective MPF scheme gets onboard the Platform, employees registered on the eMPF Platform can access all their MPF accounts and review their MPF anytime and anywhere via smartphone or computer.
Mr Chan added that the MPFA, as the regulator of the MPF System, would spare no efforts in safeguarding the MPF rights of scheme members. He encouraged young people to join the public service, including relevant regulatory bodies, to contribute to protecting public interests and bringing new talents to the industry.
