MPFA proactively promotes the eMPF Platform to employers (11 September 2024)
Mr Felix Siu, Director (Corporate Services) of the MPFA, attended an online seminar organized by a trustee on 11 Sep, where he shared with around 400 employer representatives and human resources practitioners the latest developments, functions and benefits of the eMPF Platform, as well as the related supporting services and points to note.
Mr Siu said that three MPF trustees’ schemes had joined the eMPF Platform respectively, and the remaining MPF schemes will join the Platform one by one in ascending order of the value of MPF assets under management by the trustees. It is expected all MPF schemes will be onboarded the Platform by end of 2025. He reminded employers and scheme members to take note of the relevant information provided by the trustees as the trustee will dispatch communication packs to its employers and members two to three months prior to the onboarding of the schemes, to notify them of the onboarding date and relevant arrangements.
He also highlighted that MPFA and the eMPF Platform Company would provide various support services for employers and human resources practitioners, such as training sessions, outreach services, etc., to ensure a seamless transition to the eMPF Platform for all users.
