Improving User Experience with the eMPF Platform (12 September 2024)

Ms Anne Kwong, MPFA General Manager (Risk Management), attended a meeting of the Retail Industry Tripartite Committee organized by the Labour Department on 12 September, where she introduced the latest developments of the eMPF Platform (the Platform), its functions, and benefits to be brought to all users.

Ms Kwong highlighted that the centralized eMPF Platform would bring forth a one-stop electronic solution for employers to streamline all administrative processes related to MPF schemes, thereby avoiding the inconvenience associated with paper-based processes, and notably enhancing operational efficiency. This platform further empowers MPF scheme participants to manage their MPF accounts conveniently from any location, delivering a vastly enhanced user interface.

She further added, "The MPF ePlatform has been operational since June 26 this year, with the first three MPF trustees already onboard. The remaining MPF schemes will join the Platform one by one in ascending order of the value of MPF assets under management by the trustees, and all MPF schemes are expected to complete onboarding the Platform by end 2025.

The MPFA will continue to promote the eMPF Platform to all sectors of society, enabling relevant stakeholders to prepare for the MPF #digital transformation.
