MPFA continued collaboration with MPF trustees to enhance the MPF System (10 October 2024)

 

MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau, along with the senior management team, met with the Chairmen and Board Members of all MPF trustees on 10 Oct, exchanging views on the latest developments of the eMPF Platform project and further enhancing the MPF System. 

 

 

 

During the meeting, Mrs Lau thanked the MPF trustees for their unfailing support towards the eMPF Platform project. She also highlighted the MPFA’s other work areas including fostering the provision of “value for money” and ESG products in MPF schemes, lifting the governance framework of MPF trustees, and collaboration between the MPFA and pension related organizations from the Mainland and overseas, etc.

 

 

  

 

 

She added that the launch of the eMPF Platform signified a new digital era for the MPF System. MPFA will continue to work hand in hand with all MPF trustees to ensure the success of the eMPF Platform project and provide enhanced products and services to MPF scheme members with a view to further strengthening the MPF System for scheme members’ better retirement protection, living up to the spirit of “MPF of the people, for the people”.

 

 

  

 

 

Also attended the meeting included MPFA Managing Director Mr Cheng Yan-chee, Chief Operating Officer Ms Cynthia Hui, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Mr Wallace Lau, Executive Director (Policy) Mr Eric Cheng, Executive Director (Members and Supervision) Mr Kenneth Chan, eMPF Platform Company Chief Executive Officer Mr Eric Lui and representative of the contractor of eMPF Platform project.
