MPFA continues to promote eMPF to employers (11 November 2024)
Mr John Wan, Director of Business & Compliance of the eMPF Platform Company Limited, attended the Environmental Hygiene Industry Conference 2024, organized by the Environmental Services Contractors Alliance (Hong Kong) on 11 November, sharing an overview of the functions, benefits, and important messages to note regarding the eMPF Platform to employer representatives.
Mr Wan stated that five MPF schemes have already joined the eMPF Platform, while the remaining schemes will join the platform gradually, based on the value of the MPF assets managed by the trustees. It is targeted that all MPF schemes will be migrated into the platform by the end of 2025. He advised that trustees will dispatch communication packs to their employers and scheme members, which will include the onboarding date and related arrangements in around two to three months prior to the integration of their schemes into the eMPF Platform. Employers and scheme members should stay tuned to the notifications disseminated by the trustees.
Additionally, Mr Wan mentioned the MPFA and the eMPF Platform Company are dedicated to providing a variety of support services for employers and human resource practitioners, including training courses and outreach services designed to facilitate a seamless transition to the eMPF Platform for all users.
