MPFA shares the latest development of the MPF System with AMCM (13 February 2025)
MPFA Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee, Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Hui, Executive Director (Members and Supervision) Kenneth Chan and MPFA colleagues met with representatives of the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) on 13 Feb to exchange on the latest developments in the retirement protection systems of Hong Kong and Macao and share experience in MPF supervision.
At the meeting, MPFA representatives provided updates that the eMPF Platform project is MPFA’s primary focus this year. When all MPF trustees are onboard the eMPF Platform this year, MPF scheme members will enjoy greater flexibility in MPF management with enhanced user experience as well as noticeably lower fees.
This meeting was arranged for periodic liaison under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two authorities in 2021 to facilitate closer exchanges and collaboration on issues of mutual interest pertinent to retirement protection in Hong Kong and Macao.
