MPFA Chairman shares the MPFA’s major work foci for the upcoming year with legislators of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (6 March 2025)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau, along with Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee, and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau, met via online meetings with lawmakers from the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) recently, sharing the major work foci of MPFA including the latest progress of the eMPF Platform, measures to optimize MPF investment, supervision of the MPF industry, and scheme member protection.
Representatives from BPA who attended the meeting included Ir Dr Hon Lo Wai-kwok and Hon Benson Luk Hon-man, who engaged in a candid discussion with MPFA representatives. Mrs Lau expressed her gratitude for the valuable suggestions offered by the lawmakers, noting that these insights are important references for the Authority in formulating policies. She also called on the LegCo Members to continue supporting the MPFA's work, collaborate to enhance the MPF system, and strive for better retirement protection for scheme members.
