MPFA joins hands with “Good MPF Employers” and trustees to transit to the eMPF Platform (21 March 2025)
MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau attended the “Good MPF Employer Award” recognition luncheon organized by an MPF trustee on 21 Mar. He expressed his gratitude to the employers and the trustee for their support of MPFA’s “Good MPF Employer Award”. Lau highlighted the benefits of the eMPF Platform and looked forward to collaborating with trustees to assist employers in transitioning to the Platform.
Lau said that the digital transformation in the first phase has been generally successful. Since its commencement of operation nine months ago, the eMPF Platform, has processed over 220,000 transactions, with two-thirds being conducted electronically, including contributions, withdrawals, transfer of MPF benefits, etc. . He emphasized that the MPFA, the eMPF Platform Company, and the Contractor would continue to introduce various support measures, including outreach services, enhanced training for employers and personnel handling MPF administrative tasks, and setting up eMPF kiosks in various districts across Hong Kong.
