MPFA calls on catering workers to take care of their MPF (24 March 2025)
MPFA Chairman Ayesha Macpherson Lau, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau, representatives from the Eating Establishment Employees General Union (EEEGU) and trustees of the two industry schemes visited a restaurant in Shek Mun on 24 March to engage with catering workers.
During the meeting, Mrs Lau introduced the benefits of the Default Investment Strategy and highlighted the latest initiatives of the MPF System. Mr Lau also shared the latest updates of the eMPF Platform and introduced its key features. They then exchanged with the catering workers, answered their questions and listened to their feedback.
Mrs Lau then joined EEEGU’s representatives in distributing leaflets to catering workers at nearby eateries, encouraging them to stay informed about their MPF rights and proactively manage their MPF.
