Sharing Experience on MPF Investment Regulations with AMCM (26 January 2022)
MPFA Director (Product Regulation) Mr Joseph Lee today (26 Jan) led a team of colleagues from product regulation and supervision to meet with representatives of the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) via video conferencing, sharing MPFA’s recent work and initiatives relating to enhancement of MPF permissible investments, launch of new MPF investment products, promotion of sustainable investing and supervision of trustees, etc. The meeting is a cross-border regulator meeting between MPFA and AMCM under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both sides last month.
“The MPFA will spare no effort in studying different measures to perfect MPF investments. We are pleased to share our experiences with AMCM and we hope that MPFA and AMCM will continue to foster collaboration so as to seek for the improvement on the regulatory works in both jurisdictions.”, Mr Lee added.
